Leigha C. Crout is an Associate Professor of Law at Syracuse University College of Law and a Research Affiliate with the East Asia Program at the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs. Her teaching and research focus on constitutional law, democracy, international law, and transnational legal networks.

Prior to Syracuse, she held positions at Stanford, Wisconsin, Columbia, Oxford, and Peking University, where she taught and conducted research on judicial reform and comparative constitutional law. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Washington Law Review and Asian Comparative Law Journal.

Professor Crout holds a J.D. and LL.M. from Notre Dame, a master’s from Cornell, and dual undergraduate degrees in public policy and history. She is currently completing her Ph.D. at King’s College London.
